Note: Light Westerly winds will prevail over the coastal waters through early Saturday. High pressure will build over the Eastern Pacific this weekend resulting in increasing Northwest winds along with steep wind waves.

W wind 5 to 10 kt increasing to 15 to 25 kt in the afternoon.
Patchy fog before 8am, otherwise cloudy through mid morning then gradual clearing, low 53, high 59.
Mixed swell...NW 3 ft at 9 seconds and SSW 1 ft at 14 seconds.
Wind waves 2 ft or less becoming 3 to 5 ft in the afternoon.

Surf (Del Monte Beach):
Waist to stomach high sets.
Light sideshore texture conditions in the morning. Semi-choppy conditions for the afternoon.
Wave faces 3 - 4 ft in the morning, 3 - 4 ft in the afternoon.

Wind waves 2 ft or less becoming 3 to 5 ft.

Surf (Del Monte Beach):
Knee to thigh high sets in the morning with occasional waist high sets. The surf builds in the afternoon with up to chest high sets.
Sideshore texture/choppy conditions.
Wave faces 1 - 3 ft in the morning, 3 - 4+ ft in the afternoon.
