MONTEREY BAY MARINE FORECAST

on Friday, 22 January 2021.

Note: The next chance for rain moves in along a cold front overnight and into Friday morning featuring gusty winds and scattered showers. Models are showing elevated instability over the waters Friday, so thunderstorms were added to the forecast for Friday morning; but it remains only a slight chance for development. Unsettled weather remains behind the front keeping additional showers into the weekend. A stronger storm system will impact the region the middle of next week. The seas remain with a moderate Northwest swell persisting as the next swell arrives early next week.
