WE'RE BACK!! We're starting registration with our New Dancers (see below).
Class location, dates, and times are the same as last year.
NOTE: Any keiki who did not dance in 2018-19 are considered NEW and must register in person.
Any new keiki dancer who registers will automatically be placed on our wait list as first priority will be given to those returning from our 2018-19 season.
HULA REGISTRATION: Registration will be held at the Monterey Bay Event Center Office Bldg (next to the chapel).

CLASSES START DATES: Classes will again be on Mondays and Thursdays and will be held at the MONTEREY BAY EVENT CENTER CHAPEL. First day of classes:
Thursday, August 8th:
Beginners: 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Intermmediate/Adv: 7:00pm - 8:00pm
** Thursday schedule will adjust in the fall for Otea
Monday, August 12th:
(Keikis): 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Ladies of Ke Kai: 7:00pm - 8:00pm

The first 6-8 weeks of practice concentrates on hula basics with a hula test at the end of this period. Once you're registered, please get your Hula Class Schedule & Hula Basics documents from either the Alaka'i or the website.
Practice Session information will be posted here, as we begin practices for our 36th Anniversary Luau in 2020!
Schedule - first 6-8 weeks of basics:
Keikis (New, beginning, ages 5 - 7) - 6:00pm - 6:45pm;
Keikis (Returning, ages 8-13) 6:00pm - 6:45pm
Ladies of Ke Kai - 6:45pm - 8:00pm
Beginning (and New) Dancers - 6:00pm - 7:00pm;
Intermediate and Advanced Dancers - 7:00pm - 8:00pm;
Otea/Tahitian Dancers - 8:00pm - 9:00pm.
