It's that time again!!

HULA REGISTRATION for this season HAS ENDED. Please check back in May 2019 for next season's registration information:

New Dancers:
Monday, July 9th, 6:30pm - 8:00pm (Back building -B2)

Returning Dancers:
Thursday, June 12th, 6:30pm - 8:00pm (Back building -B2)

Last Call:
Monday, July 10th, 6:30pm - 8:00pm

THE MEET AND GREET will be held at the Monterey Bay Event Center Chapel (ALL CLASSES) DATE AND TIME:

Thursday, July 19th, 6:30pm - 8:00pm

CLASSES WILL BEGIN JULY 30th and August 2nd! Classes will again be on Mondays and Thursdays and will be held at the MONTEREY BAY EVENT CENTER CHAPEL. First day of classes are as follows:


Monday, July 30th:
(Keikis): 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Ladies of Ke Kai: 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Thursday, August 2nd:
Beginners: 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Intermmediate/Adv: 7:00pm - 8:00pm
** Thursday schedule will adjust in the fall for Otea

General class schedule:

- 6:00pm Keikis
- 7:00pm Ladies of Ke Kai

- 6:00pm - 7:00pm All New & Returning Beginners
- 7:00pm - 8:00pm Intermediates (Returning Intermediates ONLY)

The general Hula practice schedule is posted below.

- PLEASE NOTE: Schedules are subject to change based on the needs of the class and the instructors!

The first 6-8 weeks of practice concentrates on hula basics with a hula test at the end of this period. Once you're registered, please get your Hula Class Schedule & Hula Basics documents from either the Alaka'i or the website.

Practice Session information will be posted here, as we begin practices for our 35th Anniversary Luau in 2019!
General Schedule:
Schedule - first 6-8 weeks of basics:

Keikis (New, beginning, ages 5 - 7) - 6:00pm - 6:45pm;
Keikis (Returning, ages 8-13) 6:00pm - 6:45pm
Ladies of Ke Kai - 6:45pm - 8:00pm

Beginning (and New) Dancers - 6:00pm - 7:00pm;
Intermediate and Advanced Dancers - 7:00pm - 8:00pm;
Otea/Tahitian Dancers - 8:00pm - 9:00pm.
